  • It also affects 1 and 10 adults in the United States.

  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Major Depression
  • Dysthymia (Persistent Depressive Disorder)

Causes of Mood Disorders

  • Genetics
  • Trauma or Stress
  • Physical Illness

Symptoms of common Mood Disorders

  • Feeling sad for a prolonged time
  • Lack of energy
  • Lack of interest in hobbies
  • Difficulty concentrating
