Hello! I’m Maegan Pittman, a graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Professional Leadership. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Southeastern University while gaining valuable experience as a student intern currently at Renew Counseling. I completed training in Psychological First Aid, which enables me to provide immediate support and assistance during disasters. My expertise extends to working with individuals and couples, offering marital assessments and premarital counseling using SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts).
My counseling approach is rooted in empathy, encouragement, collaboration and support. I believe in creating a safe space were clients can freely express their thoughts and emotions. There is the power of being present for my clients, walking alongside them as they navigate their unique journeys and discover effective coping strategies.
As Brene Brown wisely said, “Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you do is just show up.”
