Lyndsi dePrado

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

“Either you walk inside your story and own it, or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.”  ~Brené Brown

Lyndsi dePrado is a Registered Intern Mental Health Counselor providing individual and family therapy, couples therapy, adolescent therapy, and group counseling to adults. Lyndsi received her Bachelor’s Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Biblical Studies and Theology at Belhaven University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Lyndsi views the counseling process as an alliance between client and therapist and considers the clients the experts of their lives. Therefore, within the structure of the therapeutic relationship, clients can access their inner strengths and promote change. After all, everyone has a story. Some problems in your life may feel tolerable whereas others feel overwhelming and unmanageable. Lyndsi allows you a safe space and opportunity to explore your story from a broader perspective, ultimately identifying the obstacles that keep us submerged in self-doubt.

Lyndsi uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Educational Therapy, and Client- Centered Therapy. As a client, you will learn the boundaries and aspects of your life that you can control and what you cannot. Lyndsi’s goal as a therapist is to provide a safe environment to explore your primary interests, develop goals, and create a motivating pathway as you move toward your aspirations. Areas of treatment that she specializes in are:

  • ADHD
  • Adjustment problems
  • Anger and Stress Management
  • Couples Therapy
  • Eating Disorders
  • Parent/Child or Partner Relational Problems
  • Physical/Emotional Abuse
  • Trauma

Lyndsi is available to speak with you. Please reach out by phone or email to schedule a 20-minute consultation at no charge.
