Post-traumatic stress disorder and Anxiety in Women Part:1

As seen in the previous blog post-PTSD and anxiety are both more common in women than in men. More specifically the actual diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety order or GAD is more commonly seen in women. There is numerous reason why this is but, in the end, it comes down to biological and or environmental factors.

Womens’ Health.gov is an amazing website that has a plethora of information that all falls under the category of womens’ health. In this blog post, I wanted to highlight their article on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This article gives a list of the most common questions surrounding PTSD and PTSD in Women. It is an amazing tool for those of us who are new to this disorder.
