In this week’s blog post we are beginning the Psychology and the Holidays series. For this week we are focusing on Halloween and this specific post will be focusing on how Halloween can be used as a therapeutic experience/ self-care!

Self-care is important year-round; however when it comes to the end of the school year with finals and the holiday season, and dealing with loved one’s this time becomes increasingly stressful.

Below is an article from Jean Kim M.D. from psychology today. Though this article focuses on the therapeutic effects of Halloween from a self-care viewpoint, it also focuses on how Halloween can act as a catalyst for dealing with your fear.

This is a very insightful article that covers the different realms of psychology and Halloween, check it out below!
