Hey, I’m Peter. I took the scenic route to the Clinical Mental Health field, studying Anthropology, Philosophy, and Global Development before pursuing a career in Counseling. My education and interests have taken me all over the world and given me opportunities to connect with people from wildly different walks of life. Looking back, I realize that people, their stories, and a curiosity about what makes them come alive have been at the center of my passions, education, and travels—from learning languages to living overseas to writing and learning guitar. It’s all been about meaningful connection and relationships.
Fundamentally, I see the therapeutic process as a growing sense of at-homeness and friendship with oneself. As your therapist, my goal would be to provide a loving, secure connection that offers you the freedom to be yourself and become yourself as you seek to heal, grow, thrive, and make sense of your life. Think of me as a fellow traveler, joining you for part of your journey. I’d consider it an honor to walk alongside you.
I am from many places, but most recently, I’ve moved from the exotic country of South Florida to join the Renew team here in Orlando. When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time in nature, exploring new coffee shops, playing pickup soccer, strumming a guitar, finding a new show to check out, or reading a book with a good cup of coffee close by.
My degrees:
B.A. in Intercultural Studies and Philosophy from Palm Beach Atlantic University (2014)
M.A. in Urban Studies and Global Development from Azusa Pacific University (2016)
M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University (2024)
