Sarah is dedicated to creating a welcoming, warm environment from the moment the client walks through the door. She knows past experiences and present struggles do not define who we are but can interfere with daily living. Sarah is passionate about walking alongside clients who find themselves in a difficult season and helping those who may be hurting. Sarah guides clients in understanding how their life story can affect their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while gaining a deeper self-awareness. Sarah works collaboratively with clients to identify goals that move them towards healing, empowerment, and the change they desire.
Sarah is certified in Psychological First Aid and is trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which qualifies her to help clients work through crises and ongoing difficulties in life. She is inspired to help those connect with their spirituality in the aftermath of spiritual abuse. She has spent years mentoring single women and mothers and enjoys working with couples to help them repair their relationships and connect emotionally.
Sarah is dedicated to supporting families who are struggling to know how best to respond to the difficulties of parenting especially when they feel they have tried everything, but it seems like nothing is working. Sarah utilizes play therapy from an attachment style approach to help children express their inner world while meeting them at their level. With over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, she has become a strong child advocate.
She is a Florida licensed educator and a former 5th-grade teacher who continues to work with underprivileged, special needs and adopted children. She has developed skills to engage children with learning disabilities, ADHD, as well as gifted students and their parents.
