Student Intern
Hi there, my name is KaeLeigh! I have always loved intentional conversations, and it only took a matter of time until I realized I could make a career of it. I am a graduate student at Liberty University, where I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling with a concentration in Parenting and Child/Adolescent Development. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Southeastern University.
While pursuing a Master’s degree, I have been working in the child welfare system, supporting children and families while they navigate the difficulties of the foster care system. I have witnessed the life-changing impact a loving and safe environment can have on a vulnerable child. My heart is to provide that same space in the context of a therapeutic relationship, as individuals of all ages deserve a place where they can be open and honest.
My heart is to walk alongside you, whether it be through the hills or the valleys, to encourage you on this journey towards holistic healing. I have a trauma-informed perspective and strive to provide a relaxed and empathetic environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. I want to provide you with the space where you can finally be heard, understood, and encouraged. I believe every person has the potential to thrive, and I would be grateful to partner with you as we discover the skills and tools to help you have the confidence to meet your goals.
You already know that I value intentional conversations, but outside of work and school, you can find me spending quality time with my husband, walking my sweet pup, serving at church, or starting a random Pinterest project.
“You were created as the right person, at the right time, with the right gifts, to do what you are called to do.”
