I Help Anxious, Depressed, & Trauma Surviving Adults, Teens, & Couples Find Hope, Create Healing, & Discover Connection.

Adulting is hard.  Your anxiety has anxiety.  Your depression has depression.  You feel alone…in a crowded room, even with friends or family…always alone.  You feel hopeless, exhausted, like you can’t get out of bed, all the while, your mind won’t stop racing…

”Am I good enough?” “Did I take out the trash?” “Does my partner love me?” “Will I pass this test?” “I don’t want to study for this test!” “Did I brush my teeth today?”

…and on and on and on.

You wonder why your mind never stops running and simultaneously feel like you’re walking through mudThe ups and downs of this rollercoaster has you feeling beat up, tired, and unsatisfied.

If you’re ready to get off this ride, if you’re feeling anxious, depressed, lonely, or traumatized, you’ve come to the right place.

I’d love to help you get started!

My training and education was quite rigorous, and I conducted over 500 face-to-face hours with clients, over 150 hours of supervision, and over 1000 hours of additional learning and trainings.

I utilize a combination of several evidence-based, theoretical approaches in therapy, none of which involve me simply nodding my head at you the whole time.

Depending on the person I am working with, I integrate any number of psychological models. Here are some of the most common approaches I practice:

  • Mindfulness & Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy (remember all the book metaphors?)

Whatever walk of life you’re from, I speak your language. I’m fluent in feelings and logic. I understand emotions and analysis. I’ve known the life of the starving artist and the organized administrator.  I work well with all types.

While I think it’s important to understand your past and everything that has brought you to this moment, I also think it’s possible to create solutions and build a better life now.
